Don’t think of me as an over-achiever. We’ve had numerous blackout lately that has made reading pretty much the only thing I can do in the evenings, sitting by emergency light. We’ll see how speedy my reading rate is now that our generator is working again. haha

numerous *blackouts. Gah. My fingers move to fast for their own good, sometimes.
Also, I linked with MisterLinky, but I don’t see anything showing up yet. Did I do it right? Forgive my noobieness.

I happened to be reading The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes for another challenge and realized it is on the 1001 Books list. Score! I loved the book! I am still trying to familiarize myself with the list but it looks like I own a number of the books and haven’t read them yet. I’m looking forward to the next one.

I started this as a personal goal about two weeks ago! I am so glad that other people are doing this as well. I had decided that I was going to finish this list before I finished up in undergraduate school. I have another 2 1/2 year of school. I know this will be a challenge but I love to read and it is a great way to spend free time between classes, at the bus stop, etc! I am starting with Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy and I am about half way through. I just finished Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen and can’t wait to continue.
