Summary (from goodreads):
“I’ve left some clues for you. If you want them, turn the page. If you don’t, put the book back on the shelf, please.” So begins the latest whirlwind romance from the New York Times bestselling authors of Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist. Lily has left a red notebook full of challenges on a favorite bookstore shelf, waiting for just the right guy to come along and accept its dares. But is Dash that right guy? Or are Dash and Lily only destined to trade dares, dreams, and desires in the notebook they pass back and forth at locations across New York? Could their in-person selves possibly connect as well as their notebook versions? Or will they be a comic mismatch of disastrous proportions?
Review:
After being incredibly disappointed by Naomi and Eli, I was very happy when Amanda over at The Zen Leaf reviewed this book and said it was better.
I finally got it out of the library and read it in two days. It was a fun read with two characters that I loved. Lily reminded me a little of me at times (especially her love of Christmas) and Dash was just a fun guy to read. If I was a teenager in New York, I would find a way to put a notebook in the Strand to find my soulmate!
This book was just a lot of fun to read. I laughed out loud at times, and wanted to reach into the book and give characters a hug at others. I guess what I liked the most about it is that all of the characters felt real to me, and not just Dash & Lily, but all of the people in Lily’s family and all of Dash’s friends. I could see bits and pieces of my friends and family in all of them, so it made the book more of a joy to read!
I cannot awit to read Nick and Nora now that I have enjoyed a Cohn/Levithan collaboration. I have every Levithan book that my library has on hold right now, so you will be seeing lots of reviews – hopefully they will be as positive as this one!

I’ve never read Nick and Norah, but I have the movie (which is amazing!) I’m sure the book will be just as good, if not better.

I’ve heard so many good things about this one. I look forward to reading it. I did like Nick and Norah but not as much as I liked the movie.
